- To purchase tickets for UBC’s Valentine Banquet, “Celebrating God’s Blessings of Love”, please see Deborah Owensby, Robert or Retha Phillips, Joley Barber, Erna Doster or Carolyn Mattox. (see front cover for event details)
- There will be a special called conference following the AM service on Sunday, February 5, 2012. The search committee for Associate Pastor of Youth and Children will present Chad Johnson for the full time position.
- Friday, February 10th, the GEMS will be attending a Valentine Banquet at Center Hill Baptist Church. The banquet begins at 6:30 PM. We will leave UBC at 4:45 PM. The cost is $10.00 per person. A sign-up sheet is available in the SS foyer. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, February 5th.
Relay for Life 2012
Luminary Forms and Survivor Forms are now available on the foyer table.
Forms and money can be turned in to Melody Kesler. Also, if you would like to
participate in this year's Relay, please plan to attend the next Team Meeting on
Monday, February 13th at 7:00 pm here at UBC
GEMS
Southern Gospel Springfest at Ridgecrest, N.C., April 17-19th
The approximate cost will be $255 per person.
This includes 2 nights lodging (2 to a room) and 5 meals.
The following will be there: Karen Peck and New River, The Isaac's, Gold City,
Dennis Swanberg and Jeff Crook.
A sign-up sheet is available in the SS foyer.
February 8th
Cody Kujawa and his family will join us for supper on Wednesday night
to allow for the opportunity to meet and fellowship with them prior to Sunday.
If you plan to eat, please make sure you make your reservation
on the sign-up sheet available
in the SS foyer.
February 12th
On Sunday, February 12th, Cody Kujawa and his family will be
with us during the morning worship service. Cody will lead worship
and the search committee will present him for the part-time position of
Minister of Music. The Finance Committee will also present a motion to
amend the 2012 budget regarding the position. The amendment will not
increase the budget or change the bottom line.
UBC will be showing “Courageous” Sunday, February 26th, 6:00 PM
Student Activities

at Mr. George and Mrs. Patsy Chandler’s home.
Chad will take the kids over on the bus and parents
can pick them up there,
after the game
(see Chad if you need other arrangements).
UBC will provide pizza and drinks.
Please see/contact Chad if you can bring dessert/snacks/chips.
We will have a devotion and prayer during halftime.
